The Raabe-Celloteppich (German for “cello carpet”) measures 103 cm in total length, making it suitable for all seating positions and endpin types. When folded, it is only 35 cm long — it fits in any music bag — and at just 350 g it is extremely easy to carry.

Secure grip on any surface

The underside of the Raabe-Celloteppich is fitted with a premium non-slip mat. This allows use even on delicate floors while guaranteeing absolutely secure grip. Once positioned, the carpet will not slip, and your cello will not slide away in any direction. Its robust construction makes it suitable for the most varied surfaces — smooth marble floors, soft carpets, or even a lawn outdoors.

Compatible with all chairs – no installation required

The Raabe-Celloteppich is simply fixed to the floor by placing a chair leg on it. With no installation whatsoever, you are ready to play within seconds — with a little practice, you need only one free hand. You no longer need to worry about the shape of chair legs — the Raabe-Celloteppich always fits.

Free endpin positioning for optimal posture

The Raabe-Celloteppich offers a surface area of 10 cm × 10 cm, suitable for both pointed and rubber-tipped endpins. The robust carpet material allows completely free repositioning of the cello, so you can adjust and optimise your sitting position at any time — even while playing. This flexibility will give you the impression of playing entirely without any aid.

Robust materials and elegant design

All materials used are of the highest quality and meet current industry standards:

1. Base material: extremely resilient, grained ASA/ABS panels (2 mm thickness)
2. Panel connector: automotive safety belt material made of polyamide (nylon)
3. Endpin surface: durable carpet material with cross-structure made of 40 % natural fibre and 60 % polyamide
