2. General

This website provides information about the Raabe-Celloteppich. It does not set cookies, does not use analytics or tracking services and does not load content from third-party servers. Personal data is only processed in the cases described below.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. When you visit the pages, Netlify processes technically necessary access data, in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested and information about your browser and operating system. This data is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure. Without it, the website cannot be accessed. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Netlify only stores this access data for as long as necessary to deliver and secure the website and then deletes it automatically, according to Netlify usually after 30 days at the latest.

Data may be transferred to the USA in the process. Netlify is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, so the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR). For more information, see Netlify's privacy policy at www.netlify.com/privacy.

4. Contact form

If you write to me using the contact form, your name, email address and message are transmitted to me in encrypted form. The form is processed by the Netlify Forms service. Netlify (see section 3) stores your details, checks them automatically for spam and forwards them to me by email. I delete your details at Netlify as soon as your enquiry has been dealt with. Section 5 applies to everything else.

5. Contact by email and orders

If you write to me, I process your email address, your name and the content of your message in order to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to handle an order. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract and performance of a contract), and for general enquiries Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering).

You are not obliged to provide me with any data. However, without your email address I cannot reply to you, and without your name and delivery address I cannot fulfil an order.

If you place an order, I pass your name and delivery address on to the shipping company I use, to the extent necessary for delivery. For payment, the banks or payment service providers involved receive the data required for this purpose (in each case Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

For my email account I use the Gmail service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Your messages are therefore stored on Google's servers. Google may also process data on servers in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, so the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR). More information is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

I delete your data as soon as it is no longer needed. Order documents and invoices are kept for as long as required by German tax law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), usually eight years for invoices and accounting records and six years for business correspondence.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Simply contact me at the email address above.

7. Right to object

Where I process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal email is sufficient.

8. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for me is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany, www.ldi.nrw.de.
